« My work aims to create a narrative and connection as art plays an intrinsic contribution to our wellbeing, health, and happiness, more so now than ever. »
Sioux Tempestt is an artist based in Australia whose paintings have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. Living in the inner-city, she is influenced by the urban landscape that surrounds her. As a result, Tempestt's striking compositions fuse abstraction with a more "edgier" urban style. She primarily creates with acrylics, oil pastels, graphite, and collage on wood or canvas.
