"In my work, I often explore the aesthetics of everyday objects. Inspired by Pop Art, I have staged the pineapple as a modern icon, removing it from its usual context. Through the distortion of the colors—the blue leaves, the neon-pink space—the familiar motif is transformed into something new, almost sculptural."
My work explores the interplay between realism and abstraction. The flowing colors disrupt the perfection of the commercial world and… give the piece a raw, urban feel.
It is a statement piece that combines tradition and modern pop culture.”
