About this artwork
In this work, I explore the interplay of control and chance. My sole materials are ink and epoxy resin, two media that complement each other in a unique way. The ink flows, condenses, and leaves spontaneous marks, while the resin creates depth, transparency, and permanence.
During the creative process, I deliberately allow the materials space to unfold. This results in light, floating forms and colorful fragments reminiscent of blossoms, light… reflections, or fleeting memories, without depicting a specific scene. I am fascinated by the moment when a harmonious composition emerges from movement and chance.
This work is an invitation to let your own perception speak. Every glance reveals new details and associations. For me, it speaks of lightness, change, and the beauty of fleeting moments captured in a single instant.
Adam Cieslik is a self-taught painter who works with acrylics, texture pastes, and natural pigments, having originally experimented with pencil, paper, and even coffee. He combines intuitive processes with layered painting, where chance and control merge, and abstraction, as well as the tension between stillness and energy, characterize his work. His art touches the viewer through profound explorations of identity, transience, and inner transformations, aiming to reveal authentic emotions so that they resonate long after the moment is over.
