About this artwork
"This work is an ode to the energy and luminosity of color. I wanted to create a piece that immediately commands the space and evokes a strong emotional response in the viewer. I chose intense pink and magenta tones because, for me, they symbolize vibrancy, passion, and presence."
The broken structures and the bright glimpses through prevent the color from appearing 'sweet,' instead giving it a raw, powerful quality. The painting reflects an inner… state, turbulent, dynamic, yet grounded in the vertical lines. I want to invite the viewer to lose themselves in the depths of the paint layers and feel the vibration of the surface.
An epoxy resin finish gives the image a mirrored, high-gloss look and makes the colors appear even brighter and more contrasting.
