Lines on Water explores how architecture transforms natural environments.… Through a geometric landscape in vintage tones, the work invites reflection on the interaction between the built and the natural, and how our creations shape, reflect, and engage with the world we inhabit. It is a tribute to the harmony and balance possible between humankind and its environment.
Adrian González Torres (Cuba, 1993) showed an early interest in color drawing and sculpture, creating wooden figures inspired by his imagination. He participated in workshops and art competitions until he confirmed his vocation, which solidified when he entered the Professional School of Visual Arts in his province, where he graduated in sculpture. Later, he expanded his practice to include painting, curating, and photography, participating in competitions and group exhibitions. He currently resides in Madrid, where he continues to create and works with the Tape Art technique, developing a geometric, abstract, and figurative style characterized by contrasts, precise lines, and transparencies. His work invites introspection, celebrates the everyday, and expresses a search for balance and harmony within the complexity of life.
