About this artwork
In this work, I explored emotional intensity through the contrast between geometry and the human figure, using acrylics to bring it to life and add depth. Every angle and shadow expresses that inner disconnection we all face, inviting you to feel a vibrant mix of tension and release. This painting transforms any space, imbuing it with an intense and evocative energy that provokes reflection and emotion.

Adrian González Torres (Cuba, 1993) showed an early interest in color drawing and sculpture, creating wooden figures inspired by his imagination. He participated in workshops and art competitions until he confirmed his vocation, which solidified when he entered the Professional School of Visual Arts in his province, where he graduated in sculpture. Later, he expanded his practice to include painting, curating, and photography, participating in competitions and group exhibitions. He currently resides in Madrid, where he continues to create and works with the Tape Art technique, developing a geometric, abstract, and figurative style characterized by contrasts, precise lines, and transparencies. His work invites introspection, celebrates the everyday, and expresses a search for balance and harmony within the complexity of life.
