Below is part of the Embered series, which explores inner tension, change, and the quiet persistence of energy. In multi-layered, gently flowing color spaces, a state between stillness and movement emerges. Nothing is fixed, everything remains in transition—like a moment that eludes us yet is palpable.
Fine textures and granular particles permeate the surface, lending the work a physical presence. Dense and open zones alternate without being intrusive.… Below appears both understated and intense – a work that doesn't make a loud entrance, but rather unfolds over time.
Like all works in the series, this image also carries an energy within it that does not visibly erupt, but continues to exist internally.

“Inbetween” explores the tension between structure and dissolution, balance and movement. Through a process of searching, layering, and reducing, pictorial spaces emerge in which opposites are allowed to coexist.
“Unfolding” shifts the focus towards letting go, memory, and quiet movement. Forms and color spaces unfold without a fixed motif, developing in the painting process and deliberately remaining open. Works emerge as visual spaces between presence and disappearance.
The "Embered" series is evolving towards density and presence: away from decorative motifs, towards pictorial states that occupy space and have an effect without volume.
