Agnes Lau, a prize-winning painter and sculptor who resides in Malaysia, has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in China and Singapore. The "essence of living" is the foundation of her artistic practice, where ordinary yet ignored objects and activities from daily life play a great role. Through her research, Lau endeavors to stimulate reflection through her art-making processes. Incorporating both the conscious and unconscious mind, she allows various forms to take place within her compositions.
