About this artwork
Work is made of black stoneware, black porcelain and gold.
It's always a story about life dying and being reborn in a new incarnation. The death of one gives life to another. In this one aspect, death is a positive phenomenon.
I'm inspired by life in all its manifestations. In this work, I traced the new forms of life that emerge in dead leaves, rotten tree trunks, fungi, molds, and insects. The biological cycle of life is in constant motion.
