"Caribbean Dreams" Series - Reflections - A tropical blackbird is fooled by the reflection of a flamboyant tree in a pond. Little shooting anecdote: When I took the photo of the bird, it had just stolen a candied cherry placed on a cocktail glass.

Born in Paris in 1954, Alain Lacki has already had three lives with a common denominator: photography.
His research on collages and the multiple exhibitions of his 80s took him away from documentary photography to make way for photography of an unbridled and committed imagination, in the emerging movement of plastic photography.
Today, the author photographer splashes the walls with his incredible chimeras, poetic narratives where the unusual and the questioning collide with his compositions in a total freedom of tone, never fortuitously, in a unique and easily identifiable style.
