About this artwork
This work belongs to the UNIVERSO project, where I explore the universe that surrounds us and to which we belong.
As an artist, I love using the different materials that make up our lives, nature, and the environment around us (sand, stones, glass, wood, and so on) as the best means to describe them and also represent the infinity of matter, the cosmos, the stars, and the universe.
In this case, I used glass and acrylic paints on a TABLE for the… colorful effect that crystal releases when hit by light and its thick, precious, and rich texture. The effect is evocative. These works are part of a triptych: glass on a white background (this one), on a blue background, and on a gold background. For me, these are the three spiritual colors.
