About this artwork
The photographic series "Landscapes" was inspired by the study of the photographs of the great American photographer Ansel Adams but I tried to include something of my own. Many of my black and white works portray shadows, sometimes very large, characterizing these images with a strong contrast not achieved with digital manipulations. I hope that observers perceive, in addition to the aesthetic beauty of the landscape, my personal interpretation…
and feel a sense of freedom. The shots are analogue, subsequently digitized with a scanner. So the print is digital.
