About this artwork
The Grand Canyon from near Desert View Point on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park in northern Arizona. This partially dead tree in the foreground helped as a compositional tool for this view of the Grand Canyon at the eastern end of the national park and the conversion to black and white helped to make this a more dramatic image than the original colour version.
