About this artwork
I work with this magnificent poppy as one observes a material in the process of transforming.
In this "Molecular Deconstruction" series, I am not trying to represent the flower as it is, but as it would be if each particle, each vibration, were dissociated.
Here, the poppy fragments, unfolds, explodes into thousands of points.
I am interested in that precise moment when the recognizable form tips towards abstraction.
It evokes fragility, metamorphosis,… but also the persistence of the essential: the poppy, even deconstructed, remains present.
Between nature and perception, beauty is born from disorder and decomposition.
