About this artwork
I work with this Rose as one observes a material in the process of transforming.
In this "Molecular Deconstruction" series, I am not trying to represent the flower as it is, but as it would be if each particle, each vibration, were dissociated.
Here, the rose fragments, unfolds, explodes.
Its heart remains dense and vibrant, while the petals disintegrate into a cloud of lines, points, and textures.
I am interested in that precise moment when… the recognizable form tips towards abstraction.
It evokes fragility, metamorphosis, but also the persistence of the essential: even deconstructed, the rose remains present.
Between nature and perception, beauty is born from disorder and decomposition.
