About this artwork
I worked digitally on this Christmas rose using my smartphone, as if observing a material in the process of transforming.
In this "Molecular Deconstruction" collection, I am not trying to represent the flower as it is, but as it would be if each particle, each vibration, were dissociated.
The Christmas rose fragments, unfolds, explodes.
Its red heart remains dense and vibrant, while the petals disintegrate into a cloud of lines, points, and textures.…
I am interested in that precise moment when the recognizable form tips towards abstraction.
It evokes fragility, metamorphosis, but also the persistence of the essential: the Christmas rose, even deconstructed, remains present in substance.
Between nature and perception, beauty is born from disorder and decomposition.
