About this artwork
Liminal
I think there’s something beautiful about being in between.
Between who we were and who we’re becoming.
Between holding on and finally letting go.
Between what feels familiar and what we haven’t discovered yet.
I painted these waves while thinking about those moments when life feels uncertain, when you know something is changing, but you don’t quite know what comes next.
The waves are constantly breaking and reforming, never staying the same.… And somehow, I find comfort in that.
Maybe we’re allowed to be unfinished.
Maybe we’re allowed to not know.
Maybe becoming is the whole point.
“Liminal” - a space between what was and what’s still unfolding.
