the title X2-24 stands for Xilography No.2 from the year 2024. It is one of the cycles of images that are similar in their formal vocabulary but undergo a metamorphosis of colors and forms, sheet by sheet.
The preferred square format is therefore the terrain for scenarios built up from the centre of the picture, which have a truly magical power within them. The colour is deliberately printed on unprimed canvas in order to make the material appeal… of the canvas tangible.
