About this artwork
This is one of my favorite views of Altea so I had to paint it. It’s from the terrace of a restaurant so unfortunately I had to resort to using a photo instead of painting on sight. It would have been fun to do plein air. I wanted to capture how the light falls on the different buildings and how it is also reflected into shadow areas.
