“Emergence” is part of “The Journey of Love” series - a body of work exploring love as a living force expressed through color, texture, and movement. This piece represents the first stage of the journey — a moment of awakening, when form begins to rise from stillness into presence. Created with encaustic wax and layered mixed media, the surface reveals depth, transformation, and the quiet energy of becoming.
Soft turquoise and pale tones evoke balance… and openness, while deep reds and violet hues emerge from within, symbolising passion, depth, and inner completion. Subtle traces of gold bring a sense of freedom and light, guiding the viewer through the composition. The circular movement draws the eye inward, reflecting the beginning of an inner journey - where emotion, memory, and energy start to take shape.
