About this artwork
“Traces of Memory” reflects my ongoing dialogue with healing and remembrance.
Working with molten beeswax, lime pigment, and fabric, I rebuild fragments of childhood memory — moments when pain and care were intertwined.
Each layer of wax becomes like skin, holding traces of time and emotion.
The earthy tones of blue, beige, and clay mirror the calm after intensity — the softness that follows pain.
Through this piece, I revisit the quiet beauty… of transformation — how memory shifts from wound to light, from fragility to strength, in silence and time.
