"Return” is the piece in my series “The Structuration Healing Layer” It represents the gentle moment of coming back — to the body, to light, to peace.
After moving through silence, depth, and transformation, this work carries the essence of renewal.
Created with molten beeswax, lime, and earth pigments, it reveals how warmth and softness emerge from within the layers.
The turquoise and sandy tones mirror the meeting of water and ground — a place… where memory dissolves and life begins anew.
For me, “Return” is not about endings, but about the quiet joy of wholeness — a reminder that healing always leads us home.

Angela Vitosinscaia is a UK-based Moldovan artist working primarily with encaustic and mixed media. Her practice explores memory, identity, displacement and inner transformation through the physical language of materials. Combining beeswax, pigment and fire with lime, fabric, sand, marble powder and natural elements, she creates layered tactile surfaces that move between abstraction, landscape and traces of memory.
Her work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally, including at the Museum of Encaustic Art in the USA and in juried exhibitions by International Encaustic Artists. In 2025–2026, she presented her solo exhibition From Nature to Soul at The Stables Gallery, Milton Keynes. Her current practice is structured around Seven Healing Layers, an evolving artistic framework exploring how lived experience, memory and transformation can become embedded in material and form a new visual language.
