About this artwork
This piece was part of an equestrian exhibition that I collaborated on with a UK photographer. It was very exciting to see how the audience felt when comparing a piece of art to a photograph. There were a variety of feelings but the general consensus was that art was much more tactile producing unexpected emotions.
It was a challenge to enlarge a small photo to a large work on canvas but I love challenges! This piece has many layers of paint, some… of which are fluorescent that can change tones in different lighting effects. I feel it suits a modern environment and would be a piece that would continue to draw your eye.
