About this artwork
In the picture "Red Flowers" I use a technique that I began using when working with the paper cutting artist Christiane Steitz.
Here, I'm using her paper cutouts as a spray paint template. You can see two faces that I painted above and below the flowers. The image was created in several layers.

The artist Anna Bieler, born 1968 in Thessaloniki (Greece), spent her childhood in Greece, Portugal and Germany. She studied at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Fine Arts and received her diploma in 1997. Today she lives and works in Wiesbaden (Germany) and on the Costa Vicentina (southern Portugal).
