About this artwork

I look at the earth and see old legends looking back. The right side of this canvas holds a solid purple profile. The left side fractures into the bright yellows and oranges of a sunlit Austrian field. I apply the acrylic thickly. I use heavy strokes to build a dense, physical surface. The pigment feels like rough stone under my hand. I remember the amethyst veins hidden deep in the Maissau soil. I paint to give that silent stone a face. I want you… to feel grounded when you stand before it. The watcher in the paint holds a quiet geometry. Sharing the story of my work helps you enter my world.
