The image you see here is a sketch for a larger painting. I painted it on worn paper because it was merely a tool to create a new composition. But it's also beautiful in its own right.
In this watercolor, I played with different colors and shapes, as I always do. I was inspired somewhat by the inner structure of the plants I love. I love all plants. The organic shapes and various patterns are always inspired by nature and are meant to evoke a sense… of peace and meditation. This composition is meant to encourage pause and contemplation.
