About this artwork
The "Flaming Pictures" and the picture "Summer 1" were created in 2022. It was summer, the heat reigned and everything was sweating from the heat. The normally green meadows were yellow, people working in the fields were almost burnt. Leaves were withering, animals were almost fainting. It was hot. Terrible and beautiful at the same time. In my painting I wanted to depict this dangerous beauty of a very hot summer.
