About this artwork
Using the same three primary colors in the tradition of masters like (Mondrian), the series is a evolution of experimentation with shapes, lines, grids and abstraction (sometimes expressionism) that leads the mind on a self-discovery and eventually asks the question...is this real - and how much more or less real than "reality" as we percieve it. The series culminates in the largest piece in the collection called "Everything is equally real in this…
moment".

- Experienced Artist
« Much like religious people go to church or temple, I go to my studio and perform my ceremony, it takes me to 'heaven' on a daily basis. »
Anuj Madan is a painter and photographer based in India whose works have been exhibited nationally. He describes his artistic practice as being marked by spontaneity and flow. However, in Madan's compositions, the lines subconsciously take precedence. He most often creates using ink, acrylics, and enamel on paper, canvas, cardboard, or cassette tapes.
