About this artwork
I wanted to create a raw, abstract landscape using round forms and squares to symbolize clouds, sky, flowers, grass, earth. The objects of the landscape are rough and pure, leaving room for interpreatation, whereas the horizon gives the viewer a clear orientation of what is depicted - sky, earth, grass as we have seen it thousands of times before.
