The Great Egret, with a height of nearly a metre, is the tallest of the white egrets. It frequents swamps, lagoons and estuaries in large colonies which build their nests in nearby trees.
This painting is done with premium handmade Kobaien ink and watercolour on marbled xuan paper.
The image size is 40cm x 28cm which has been dry mounted by the artist on A3 size Fabriano 300gsm archival paper.
