One of the largest eagles in the world, the Australian Wedge-tailed Eagle has a wingspan of almost three metres. They make huge nests high in large trees which they will use for decades. They are powerful, majestic birds which can be seen soaring at great height over grasslands in search of prey. Eagles are seen as a symbol of strength, power and protection.
This painting is done with premium handmade Kobaien inks and watercolour on xuan paper which… has a subtle shimmer of mica flecks.
It has been dry mounted by the artist on A4 size Fabriano 300gsm archival paper and professionally framed with acid-free matt board and a slender black wooden frame.
