Dieses Bild eine Hommage an Keith Haring und Piet Mondrian und ihre visuelle Welt.
Eines Tages wurde mir bewusst, dass Keith Haring und Piet Mondrian die gleiche künstlerische Sprache verwendeten: klare monochrome Farben, klare Formen und dünne schwarze Linien. Beide Wege sind sehr ähnlich und doch grundlegend verschieden. Sie benutzten beide die gleichen Werkzeuge, kamen aber zu diametral entgegengesetzten Ergebnissen. Mondrian erforschte die… geometrische Welt der Quadrate und Linien, Haring grub tief im Unbewussten und kam zu seinem sehr symbolischen und bedeutenden persönlichen Primitivismus.
Für mich war es ganz natürlich, beide Künstler zu zitieren und dennoch meinen eigenen neuen Weg zu finden. Die Vermischung der Stile schafft eine dynamische und erfrischende neue Perspektive. Neben der künstlerischen Dimension schenkt es mir ein Lächeln, das ich hoffentlich weitergeben kann.
