About this artwork
"Light's Composition" fuses an explosion of color and light with the intensity of its strokes, approaching an abstract painting with expressionist overtones. The light yellow covers the entire background, while, thanks to the flexibility of the brushstroke, the color seems to emerge from the background, like a burst of light from a seascape. The work, by all accounts, is exceptional.
The lights are synthesized into vibrant points distributed throughout… the composition. For the artist, these points of light have an almost metaphysical meaning, representing both the human microcosm (like the flashing of the eyes) and the stellar macrocosm. These points not only decorate, but also help channel the painting's energy, distributing it among the color, the brushstrokes, and the white incisions. The work conveys a sense of communion with nature, evoking a return to the essential, to what we have left behind.
