About this artwork
The work "Naixement" made in 2010 is located right in the equator between night cities, impossible, dual and vibrant. And the new minimalist/material language that will occur in subsequent compositions such as epojé, Catalan composition, el silencio... The work approaches symmetry in which it reveals its background in depth, (the relationship and influence of cities nocturnal, the points of light, the sea, the water, the light...) rooted in irrational…
plastic bewilderment. And it anticipates a new distilled, synthetic era, influenced by artists such as Barnet Newman, Mark Rothko...

Arribas-Forcada is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.
