Universal Pattern

Universal Pattern is a large-format work that fuses the energy of the stroke with an explosion of structured light. The yellow background acts as a vibrant field, from which luminous brushstrokes emerge, evoking a cosmic or underwater origin.
The white dots function as energy centers: incisions that connect with the human microcosm (the spark in the eyes) and the stellar macrocosm.… This treatment of the dot recalls the material-light spirituality of Arranz-Bravo, as well as the expressive intensity of Joan Mitchell and the chromatic atmosphere of Turner.
The work is presented in three independent, ready-to-hang panels, which together make up the complete triptych.
