The work depicts a child's shoe as a symbol of dreams and ambition. A childhood object transformed into a design sculpture, evoking Cristiano Ronaldo as an icon of determination and discipline. The shoe, welded to a metal pedestal and hand-painted, narrates the transition from dream to reality. 👉 The face is an open construction site.
On the surface, a micro-DioramaART construction site takes shape, populated by miniatures… of workers at work: a powerful metaphor for the sacrifice necessary to transform talent into success.
Placed in a display case, the work creates an intense dialogue between childhood, work and contemporary design.

👉 FROM RUST TO ART
My name is Flora Zambanini and I am a self-taught artist. I transform any type of industrial material into works of art, integrating cement and ferrous pastes, acrylic paints, metal wires, and DioramaART elements: micro-scenes created with miniature real objects. I attach designer lamps directly to the work and, for some niche pieces, use illuminated display cases. Surfaces marked by scratches, dents, and imperfections become aesthetic textures: where oxidation transforms into poetry. A distinctive element of my work is that the works are not created to be hung, but to be experienced in space as pictorial design sculptures.
