In Greek mythology, Rodo, Rode, Rodes, Roda or Rhodes (in Greek Ροδη Rhodê, or Ροδος; "lady of Rhodes" or simply "of the island of Rhodes") was a sea goddess who lived on the island of Rhodes, newly emerged over the waters. His father was Poseidon, but his mother's name varies depending on the author, being Halia, Amphitrite, Aphrodite or even Polypheus. According to other sources, she was the daughter of Aphrodite without specifying the paternal… affiliation.5 In the version in which Rodo is the daughter of Poseidon and Amphitrite, therefore she is also the sister of Triton and Bentesicime. Epimenides descends it in his genealogy from Oceanus and the city receives its name from it.

Arturo Prins is an exciting Spanish artist whose style comes from a sensibility of play, discipline, freedom and rebellion, redoubled in a constant reinvention of himself. Thematically, Prins looks to delve into metaphysics, symbolism, esoteric cosmogony, while mixing in humor to soften the transcendent themes in his work. He also describes his work as being "nostalgic for the future, sometimes with a nod to the eclectic spiritualism between East and West."
