About this artwork
Paperwork #33 is a unique wall sculpture from Astrid Stöppel's Paperwork series. Colored paper scraps and text-printed paper fragments are mounted on a white canvas, forming a multi-layered, three-dimensional surface. The work measures 60 × 80 × 6 cm and was created in 2026.
The individual paper scraps symbolize transience and change. What originally consists of many small, independent fragments is transformed into something new. The numerous overlapping… layers of paper create a pronounced 3D effect, giving the work a unique tactile and spatial quality.
Paperwork #33 combines color, structure and materiality to create a contemporary abstract wall sculpture – unique and with a strong presence in the room.
