While inventorying her artwork she began to repurpose some earlier paintings in the context of today’s unusual environment of being "sheltered in place”. Guided by her Buddhist practice, her focus is always on today and tomorrow, wondering what her options are - wondering where will the open door to lead to?
The return of the rose is autobiographical, representing the solitude of today.
