About this artwork
It's a gas station, is also for washing cars on a rainy night in New Orleans, not far from French Square and Marigny. I went there on foot from my home in Marigny, because everyone told me that's where there are the best chicken wings in New Orleans to take away or to eat on site.
So I had to go there and I saw this car wash station with all these nocturnal reflections, it was a magnificent fiasco of colors, because it was raining heavily just before… and the spectacle of colors was magnificent. When I got home I must have had this impression of the magic of the colors and I obviously tasted the chicken, which was indeed a delight. I won double. A print for a beautiful painting and the best chicken wings.
