About this artwork
The painting WEINBERG IM WINTER was created in several layers using the acrylic mixing technique. The artist used pastel-colored, beige, gray, white and brown nuances as well as structural mass to represent the magical wintry atmosphere in the vineyard. In doing so, she succeeds in achieving a nice feel. She painted on artist cardboard with a canvas structure and inserted the picture into a harmonious frame. The painting can be hung up immediately.…

Barbara Schauß is an established German painter whose works have been exhibited in regional and national exhibitions. Her love for art began as a child when she discovered her father's books of world famous paintings. Inspired by the Impressionist movement, Schauß was greatly moved to paint after seeing Monet's "Fields in Spring" and famous lily pads. She also experiments in abstract painting, working in both oils and acrylics. Schauß is compelled by colors and aims to represent an overall atmosphere, whether harmonious or discordant, through her work.
