In this sculpture, I capture the serene yet dynamic essence of fly fishing. Crafted in bronze, the figure posed mid-action reflects a moment of intense focus and connection with nature. This sculpture embodies the thrill and meditative peace of angling, inviting onlookers to ponder the delicate balance between man and the natural world. Perfect for bringing a touch of tranquility and spirited energy into your home.
« Talent is not the only ingredient needed for a good artist. Talent is useless without hard work and a dedication to quality to make each work better than the last. »
Barry Jackson is an experienced artist from South Africa whose bronze sculptures have been exhibited nationally and are held in public collections. He began drawing as a kid and after winning an art competition at the young age of 13 on Zambia TV, Jackson decided to devote his life to art. Portraiture and wildlife are the main themes in his sculptures, and he is often commissioned to create life size public works of famous figures such as Mahatma Gandhi and Louis Van Mauritius.
