About this artwork
In this painting I have tried to capture the complexity of human emotions and identity by mixing semi-abstract and slightly distorted facial details with vibrant, emotionally charged colors. The layering and texture in acrylic paint emphasizes the inner struggle and the many faces we wear in daily life. This artwork brings a powerful, reflective atmosphere to any space, inviting the viewer to look deeper and find personal connections.

« I like to play with reality, colors, light, shapes, movements, and transform images. They might appear a little distorted, even if realistic, but I always search for harmony. »
Bea Evers is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. While the themes in her works have changed throughout the years, her current pieces are primarily semi-abstract landscapes. Evers describes her art as an invitation to the viewer to feel a sense of spaciousness, while also "giving the eye something to search for". She most often creates using acrylics and charcoal on wood or canvas.
