About this artwork
Flow is my semi-abstract interpretation of a landscape. It got filled with greens, blues and pink. It represents a natural surrounding, a bit romantic, but also a bit unreal and distorted, and with an urban feeling to it as well. I had a lot of fun to put layer after layer on this painting. It actually built itself. Hopefully it gives you a lot to discover and enjoy!
This painting made with acrylic paint and pencils. As always I love to combine painting… and drawing in my work.

« I like to play with reality, colors, light, shapes, movements, and transform images. They might appear a little distorted, even if realistic, but I always search for harmony. »
Bea Evers is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. While the themes in her works have changed throughout the years, her current pieces are primarily semi-abstract landscapes. Evers describes her art as an invitation to the viewer to feel a sense of spaciousness, while also "giving the eye something to search for". She most often creates using acrylics and charcoal on wood or canvas.
