About this artwork
This is a semi-abstract landscape that like most of my work brings in a feeling of spaciousness, openness and depth.
As usual there are many layers underneath my painting. It is a labor intensive way of working, but I love it. All these layers give me the best chance to find some hidden treasures. Top right there is this little village that I didn't create but somehow appeared. A quiet place to long for, dream off and walk through silent nature.
