Once upon a house with bright red walls
Surrounded on one side by another completely green
And caressing south with careful movement,
Walls clad in an ever-alert blue.
The verdant ocean preserves like a shelter
The stream and its laughter at the bottom of the garden,
The warm hamlet and its sweet follies,
The bronze shards hidden in the paths.
But… the shadows grow longer as the sun goes down,

Beatrice Van Ez-Le Perru is an award-winning French painter whose works have been extensively exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United States. With a figurative style, she favors painting maritime scenes and is also inspired by 'silent lives' and landscapes. Trained in traditional techniques, Van Ez-Le Perru creates using pigments she blends in her studio.
