About this artwork
Eden, after explores transformation through self-nourishment, experience, and reinvention. In the first panel, the figure appears raw and exposed, while the blue watering can becomes a symbol of feeding the self and sustaining the soul. Leaf textures suggest renewal and the idea of turning over a new leaf.
In the second panel, the body is abstracted into typography and form, as though identity has shifted from the physical into something symbolic,… creative, and redefined.
The work draws on the idea of Eden not as a place of innocence, but as a point of departure — the moment after experience, when knowledge, pain, and growth begin to shape a new self.
