About this artwork
Kintsugi is an old Japanese way of repairing ceramics and porcelain with gold - in order to make it even more beautiful and still usable. The embellishment often makes the broken piece even more precious adding a special rare beauty.
The "repair" effect is obtained with gold acrylic paint, gold leaf and gold dust giving the "rough" surface.
The artwork is painted on the sides - ready to hang without a frame if you so wish.
The artist's symbol is… on the front, the painting is signed on the back.
