About this artwork
Lovely antique lacquer boxes - 8 of them - they are decorated in a totally different - some have elaborate locks and others complicated lacquerworks.
These boxes were much in use - some big and others rather small - but always decorative and useful as a storage place and a decoration in their own right.
The artwork is signed with a symbol in front and a signature on the back. Painted on the sides.
