About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to capture the raw power and dynamism of the sea. Using acrylics and ink, I realistically depicted the vibrant movement of the waves to make the energy and unpredictability of nature palpable. It is intended to captivate the viewer and bring a sense of freedom and excitement into their space.
As a freelance artist, I live and work in Kehl am Rhein.
I intensively explore various artistic styles and primarily create small-format… works, no larger than 40x50 cm. My preferred medium is acrylic paint on stretched canvas.
I find my motivation in the floodplain forests of the Rhine Forest, in the Black Forest, but also on painting trips to Scotland, Andalusia, Tuscany, and Utah.

Bernd Stephanny is an artist who has learned the craft of drawing. He uses this background to constantly develop himself with mediums such as oil, pastel and watercolor.
